Melt &
Pour Glycerin Soap Instructions
1.
Melt the Soap
Use microwave, double boiler, or burner to slowly
melt the glycerin soap base. Do not get the soap too hot and try to avoid
boiling.
2.
Add the Fragrance
Once the soap has turned to liquid, remove it from
the heat source. Add your soap safe fragrance oil at 1 tablespoon per pound
of soap. (Please note that certain fragrances may naturally color the soap)
3.
Add Color
Immediately after adding the fragrance, you will add
your soap safe dye. Add the color very slowly as not to “over-color” the
soap.
4.
Pour into Molds
Pour soap into the mold. Let the air bubbles rise to
the top. Lightly spray the top of the soap base with rubbing alcohol to
help the bubbles disappear. Place the molds in the freezer for 20 minutes
to help the soap release.
